create! We will create a one-of-a kind graphic designed wedding album for you and
your wedding photographs. We will work one on one, not just as your photographer, but also as your graphic designer and publisher
for your wedding album. Using one of our favorite albums From
 GraphiStudios: An alternative
to traditional albums. The GraphiStudios album is made in Venice, Italy and is considered one of the best albums available. Transform images into a
storybook. Instead of the normal wedding album where photographic prints are stuck in a one-off format, Graphistudio has patented a binding technique
that allows full double page panoramic printing with no cracks or seams down the middle. The book can be produced in several formats ranging from
large to pocket size depending on your requirements. Even the cover is printed directly with indelible inks that can be combined with a variety of
different materials.

Music for the Ceremony and
Reception
When choosing and arranging music
for what may be the most memorable day of your life, choose music that will be remembered fondly by everyone in attendance. Music is more important at
the beginning of the ceremony than at any other time in the wedding. It is the processional that captivates the attention of the guests for the
arrival of the bride. Most church organs are much alike in tone but you may wish to supply an added interest of a violin or trumpet. Usually, a solo
singer is featured at some point in the ceremony, but choose one carefully. Remember, the music should have meaning and significance to both of you. A
favorite song may have lyrics that express how you feel about one another. However, bear in mind that the music should blend with the
ceremony—not distract from it.
As for the reception, you have
many choices. If you prefer the sound of live music, you don’t necessarily have to have a band. A small jazz combo provides a festive air while
classical musicians add elegance and formality to the scene. A strolling musician playing requests is the answer to that awkward period of time before
the bridal party arrives. While there are many options, the all-purpose wedding band is the choice of most. Suggest to the band that they include
music for ethnic folk dances such as the polka. These tunes are not just for the older guests but single guests also enjoy the opportunity to join
group dancing. Your non-dancing guests can have a fun time by the visual entertainment of the band through their onstage choreography and interactions
with the audience. If the band you choose is electronically amplified, make sure they are not too loud for the size of the room. Most wedding bands
have an average of three to five members and usually cost approximately $200 per member. Some bands provide taped music during breaks.
If the cost of a band will
stretch your budget, consider the advantage of a DJ. The music is continuous without the breaks that interrupt live music. Their broad range of music
is what appeals to most couples. If you like rock, country western, heavy metal, songs of the 50’s—they have it all! The biggest factor
in your decision to choose a disc jockey should be whether most of your guests like to dance. If they don’t, go with some kind of live
performance that they can watch. As with a band, it is important to hire a DJ with wedding experience. Those who have done only social dances
will be unfamiliar with the etiquette of weddings.
Once you have chosen your music
providers, obtain a written agreement including the standard fee, the beginning and ending time, number of breaks, cost of overtime, cancellation
clause, and number of musicians (if you’re hiring a band). Discuss with them what you expect—formality with their clothing, whether or
not they are invited to eat, what sound level you want, and if you want them to act as emcee. They should agree to call you a month before the wedding
to confirm the booking. Give them an idea of the musical tastes and ages of your guests and a list of your own requests—especially for the
first dance. Talking through the evening’s performance with them will give you assurance that everything will go smoothly. The quality of your
entertainment will make the difference between a nice evening and one that your guests will truly enjoy! |
